Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted. And experience is often the most valuable thing you have to offer.
― Randy Pausch

Imagine if everything went the way you wanted: your workouts, your relationships, your grandest career ambitions. Visioning can bring your life goals into clearer focus — and help you make them a reality.

What I found that, actively envisioning something you really desire prepares your mind for that reality, predisposing your subconscious to help manifest it — by noticing things you otherwise might miss. Visioning is essentially a form of yoga for your brain cells — a chance for your mind to stretch and re-form itself around the experiences you want to have. Creating the mental space and emotional energy for them to happen in actuality.

In the beginning, I had no idea how much I would learn from my time with the Amal academy over the next few months. After an intense application, an online interview, and a selection activity, to my surprise I was accepted as one of the fellows in the most prime batch, batch# 190💖

Where it all begun

As an introvert, meeting strangers and striking up a conversation is not something I enjoy doing. On the day of first session, seeing all the unfamiliar faces on the screen made me really jittery. But I remained still upbeat and excited about this learning opportunity. “Don’t give up, the beginning is always the hardest, so keep going until the very end,” I kept telling myself.

The first week of Amal Fellowship went so fast, and I did not find time to waste my time, which I actually do most of the time. I had to complete two courses and one project work for each course. The title of those courses was;

i. Living a life of purpose.
ii. Team work.

How many of you reading this blog truly live a LIFE, a life with an objective, a life of their own, and not only turning days into nights and vice versa? If your inner responds NO to the aforementioned question all you need to do is just break the monotony. Your life will not change overnight, or you cannot change it rapidly. What you need to do is to do something every day that brings even 0.1% change in you, a good change.

In just first two weeks of Amal fellowship I had learned blogging, teamwork, everyday leadership, how to develop smart goals and to live a life of purpose.

Can you imagine what a three-month session could do for my professional career if only two weeks are so productive? As far as my entire experience with the Amal fellowship is concerned, I noticed a significant difference in myself in terms of professional growth and skill development.
